Why is my MoCA connection intermittently dropping?
- This could be a signal issue; you may need to have your ISP come out and make sure there is no interference(>1002MHz) coming from the DOCSIS signal coming from your cable service.
- Make sure all the coax connections are hand-tight on all MoCA devices, including your modem.
- Make sure you have a PoE (Point-of-Entry) 1002MHz low-pass filter on the coax line coming into your home.
- Make sure your MoCA devices are all on the most recent firmware.
- Make sure there are no failing amplifiers connected to the coax.
- Make sure there are no TV amplifiers between(separate) the MoCA nodes.
