If the ISP refuses to adjust DOCSIS frequencies, what are the user’s options?
Current workarounds include:
Replace the MoCA device.
Note: The ECBs do not support frequency adjustments.
Switch to alternative technologies: Use Powerline adapters or Wi-Fi Mesh systems instead of coaxial-based MoCA.
Upgrade ISP equipment: Negotiate with the ISP to upgrade to a High-Split DOCSIS modem, which widens the gap between DOCSIS and MoCA frequency bands.
