ECB6000 Firmware Upgrade Instructions

  1. Set a static IP on the computer's Network adapter of “192.168.144.5”
  2. Open the Web Browser and type “192.168.144.20” and press Enter.
  3. The admin user name is admin, and the admin password is ecb6000.
  4. Click on "Upgrade".
  5. Click on "Choose File" and select the "AEI_v3.01_NCS_firmware.bin" file that was provided.
  6. Click on upload.
  7. The device will upload and upgrade the adapter, then reboot. After reboot, the SW Version should now show "EN2850.1.54.06.89"
  8. Make sure to set the computer's Network adapter back to “Obtain Automatically”.

Actiontec does NOT provide support for changing any settings in the adapters, as they are already preconfigured with optimal settings.
